Moving on, with Michael’s reading section, Alaa was able to participate in studying Michael’s: 70 academic speed reading practice tests, testing students’ ability to read from 100 to 350 words per minute, Michael’s note taking systems were he would learn to create more organized responses during integrated writing and integrated speaking tasks, furthermore, engage in effective reading lessons where he would build skills such as: discerning main ideas and details, understanding vocabulary from context, understanding the organization of reading passages including transitions, and having the ability to make inferences. Because of this, Alaa improved his reading proficiency and even his reading speed by being able to read 244 words per minute.
