Philippine native Xander scored 65/120 on the TOEFL two years ago. Studying English at Michigan state university as an international student, Xander needed to score 80/120 on the TOEFL for the university to fully admit him. But Xander was faced with the difficult task of scoring well in sections such as speaking and writing. So Francis, S.T.E.A.L.T.H student and Xander’s personal friend recommended Michael’s “The 7-Step System to Pass the TOEFL iBT” to help Xander improve his scores on the TOEFL. Joining Michael’s Online TOEFL Course, Xander was given comprehensive lessons, exercises, and practice tests to improve his scores in sections of the TOEFL he struggled the most!

Initially Xander scored 16/30 on the speaking section of the TOEFL and thought he could never find a way to improve his fluency and pronunciation skills in English. However, through Michael’s course and guidance, this was easily improved. Completing exercises in which he needed to repeat certain vowel and consonants sounds, Xander studied daily to improve his stress, intonation, and pausing of words. In addition, by completing both integrated and independent skill-building tasks, Xander improved in his speaking fluency and pronunciation. And, after countless exercises, practice tests, and feedback through the exclusive Voxopop Discussion Group, Xander soon began developing excellent pronunciation skills in English and was amazed how much his speaking proficiency improved.

Besides his success in the speaking section, Xander began to compose excellent written responses in the writing section of Michael’s 7-Step System. By completing hundreds of skill-building exercises and a handful of independent and integrated practice tests, Xander improved his writing organization, topic development, and complex sentence formation. Moreover, with feedback provided by iBT writing specialists, Xander was told how to improve his use of word choice, punctuation, and transitions! As a result, Xander began scoring 26/30 in the writing practice tests and felt a large improvement in his academic writing.

With this in mind, Xander retook the TOEFL for the second time and passed! Scoring 88/120! Because of this, Michigan state university fully admitted him and Xander commented how he began interacting with his peers with ease and non-embarrassment because of his new and improved English. All in all, through Michael’s feedback and lesson plans, Xander improved his speaking and writing abilities and passed the TOEFL iBT.

So, if you are looking to pass the TOEFL or improving your academic English, take it upon yourself to join Michael’s “The 7-Step System to Pass the TOEFL iBT.”
