Using Noun Clauses in TOEFL Integrated Writing

Hello TOEFLers,

The first of two writing tasks on the TOEFL iBT exam, the integrated writing task requires students to summarize the main points of both the reading and the listening passage. In order for these test-takers to effectively combine the most important points from the reading and the listening passage, they will need to understand how to use noun clauses.

However, one of my students who completed an integrated writing practice test in my Online TOEFL Course was noticeably avoiding noun clauses in her writing; therefore, in the following video, I rewrote some of her sentences so that she could use how to use this type of grammar structure to more effectively combine the information from the reading passage and the lecture.
