Sekou uses an Online TOEFL Course for three months to reach his goals.

Hi Michael,

I am Sekou from Guinea; I am an international student learning English in the US through the program Exchange. I have taken the TOEFL before and scored 76 with R 20, L 18, S 20, and W 18, which isn’t good at all. This is why I decided to join your Online TOEFL Course “The 7 Step System to Pass the TOEFL iBT,” so I can improve my TOEFL score by scoring at least 90+ on my next TOEFL test and so I can keep my scholarship to continue studying here in the United States. But honestly sir, I don’t know what I need to do (necessarily what I need to study first and at what pace should I be studying). I already register for my next TOEFL test in 3 months on April 27, 2013, so I just ask by me registering in your course, would you be able to help me have a good score. My goal is 90+ points, is this going to be really hard for me to do?
Sekou”

Wanting to help Sekou in his situation, Michael told Sekou his goal was possible if he followed the training offered in his course on a day-to-day basis. He advised him to study every day, work on suggested lessons, and study with determination with his 90-Day TOEFL Study Guide: http://dev2.fairmann.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2013/01/90-Day-7-Step-Study-Guide.pdf to meet his goal of scoring 90+ in 3 months. In addition, Sekou had the benefit of being to post video responses online based on his attempt in various lessons in the Exclusive Voxopop Discussion Group, after which he received feedback by Michael telling him his errors and how to improve with suggested lessons.

Taking Michael’s advice and help to heart, Sekou kept us updated here at the 7 Step System to Pass the TOEFL iBT with his progress and willingness to improve. Each day, Sekou had new assignments completed, and, for every week that went by, his proficiency and intelligibility to many of the exercises and tasks were truly getting better. After what seemed like only weeks, three months went by and Sekou had reported us new TOEFL scores that were taken on April 27, 2013. His final remarks to Michael are listed below:

“Dear Michael!
I have just received my newest TOEFL scores and I am happy to tell you I scored 97 in total! All of your help and advice has helped more than you know within these recent months! My newest TOEFL scores were listed as the following: R=26, L=22, S=24, and W=25. Unfortunately, my score in listening wasn’t too good. Although I scored at least 26/30 in the practice tests, I scored only 22 in the actual TOEFL test. One listening passage in the TOEFL test was very hard to
understand and I had severe problems in answering those questions. Despite this, your TOEFL course has helped me learn what I needed to learn as I first hoped for when I first joined your course; I recommend it anyone taking the TOEFL! Once again, thank you so much for all your efforts!
Sekou”
