Online TOEFL Course
Hello possible and current students! My name is Jacob Marcos and I am Michael’s newest specialist for the Online TOEFL Course called “The 7-Step System to Pass the TOEFL iBT”. We are very excited about guiding and helping you navigate through the 1,700 vocabulary words, pronunciation, grammar, listening, reading, speaking, and writing lessons and tasks that the founder owner and materials writer Michael has developed. Michael and I are prepared and excited to guide you towards improvement. Here are some of the exciting things that are happening online every day on the Online TOEFL Course called “The 7-Step System to Pass the TOEFL iBT”.
After working and responding to students’ Integrated and Independent speaking tasks, I found that the Seven Step System to Pass the TOEFL iBT has helped them tremendously. I have been helping students develop their pronunciation, sentence rhythm, intonation, thought groups and blending. For example, a student named Kelly was having problems with pronouncing a commonly difficult sound in English which was the “th” sound. I referred her to Michael’s Speak Clearly Lesson 24: Practice Exercises for the “Thigh” versus “Thy” Consonants which is Step 2 of his 7-Step System. I also advised Kelly to work on her pausing and phrasing, both of which would improve her delivery, and that would help her with her goal to improve her intelligibility. Kelly applied my suggestions by logging on every day to “The 7-Step System to Pass the TOEFL iBT”. She practiced and studied online with Michael. She drastically improved her pronunciation and improved her pausing and paraphrasing which led to higher scores on her Independent and Integrated Speaking Tasks. Finally, Kelly wanted to work on her intelligibility, and by working online with Michael, she is achieving that goal.
Michael’s system also focuses on Independent and Integrated Writing Tasks. We do not leave out a critical part of the TOEFL. Michael designed “The 7-Step System to Pass the TOEFL iBT” knowing that writing is a critical part of the test that students need help with. Integrated writing for students can cause major issues because it is a difficult task to show the relationship between a reading passage and a lecture. For example, Johanna had to read and listen to a lecture about Christopher Columbus. Johanna had problems with organizing her introduction. I advised her to log on to “The 7-Step System to Pass the TOEFL iBT” and review Michael’s Lesson 9: Answering the Integrated Writing Task. After Johanna reviewed the lesson, I explained to her that she needed have a solid topic sentence and build up to her thesis statement by citing facts both from the listening and speaking. Johanna worked hard and applied what she learned to the next writing task and she improved her score.
All in all, it is a wonderful opportunity to be one of Michael’s newest “7-Step System to Pass the TOEFL iBT” specialist. I am excited to be working with a TOEFL expert. More importantly, I am honored to be guiding and helping students like Kelly and Johanna with their speaking and writing skills.
