Online TOEFL Course
Originally from Mongolia, Naranbaatar wasn’t the most fluent English reader or writer. Knowing this, Naranbaatar decided to do some research looking for an Online TOEFL Course to help improve his reading and writing skills. After browsing a few prominent websites, Naranbaatar eventually joined Michael Buckhoff’s Online TOEFL Course called “The 7-Step System to Pass the TOEFL iBT.” Naranbaatar decided to choose this TOEFL course over others because this online course develops academic proficiency in 630 vocabulary, pronunciation, grammar, reading, listening, speaking, and writing lessons and practice tests–and because it offers additional feedback to to improve his reading and writing abilities at such an affordable cost.
At first, in regards to his reading, Naranbaatar had trouble discerning main ideas and details, understanding vocabulary from context, and understanding the organization of reading passages including transitions. However, in regards to his writing, Naranbaatar had problems with organizing a coherent response, sentence organization, and writing detailed developmental paragraphs. So for this monthly service of 38$ per month, Naranbaatar had access to academic lessons, exercises, feedback, and practice tests which helped him immensely to improve his reading and writing skills.
In addition, after consulting with Michael, TOEFL speaking and writing specialist, Naranbaatar decided to pay for a one time additional service of having Michael work with him independently in order to correct all the errors in his writing, as well as providing a thorough discussion of why his essay received the score it did, including a rewriting of his essay to show how Naranbaatar could make his essay score a 5.0/5.0 or 30/30 points.
Four months into the course, Naranbaatar is now scoring at least a 26 in both the reading and writing sections of Michael’s course. Adding this additional service helped Naranbaatar immensely in improving his reading fluidity and writing proficiency. Because of this, Naranbaatar continues to use Michael’s “7-Step System to Pass the TOEFL iBT,” and explores the many other lesson plans offered to pass the TOEFL iBT in order to further improve his academic English.
