Hasan uses an Online TOEFL Course to score 24 and 26 on the speaking and writing sections.

Supposing Hasan decided to search for a course to improve his English proficiency, Hasan reluctantly subscribed to Michael’s Online TOEFL Course. When Hasan first arrived in the United States from Turkey, he clearly found out that academic English is quite difficult to learn. Born and raised in Turkey for most of his life, Hasan clearly could not write opinionated responses or enunciate his thoughts as well as he would have liked in academic English.

However, with Michael’s pronunciation and grammar sections, Hasan was told to complete the separate pronunciation and grammar lessons. In Michael’s pronunciation section, Hasan was given extensive practice with vowel and consonants sounds and instruction the stress, intonation, and pausing. For instance, with Michaels speak clearly lessons 1-24, Hasan was given all the instruction he needed to understand relevant vowels and constant sounds. With speak clearly lessons 25-49, Hasan was given numerous hours of instruction where he was taught intonation, grammatical word endings, syllable division, and sentence rhythm. As for Michael’s grammar section, Hasan was given thorough practice to improve his punctuation and overall editing. With lessons teaching Hasan subjects such as writing, grammar, ESL, and research exercises; Hasan learned about being more concise, sentence variety, and improving his grammar.

With Michael’s speaking and writing sections, Hasan was similarly told to complete various speaking and writing exercises. With Michael’s speaking section, Hasan was taught to build an organized approach to his speaking. By working on various speaking exercises, Hasan learned, competent speaking skills such as constructing a meaningful response and communicating rich details in the body of the speech. As for Michael’s writing section, Hasan was taught how to improve his writing weaknesses. By working on separate writing exercises, Hasan gained competent writing skills like forming an intelligible written response and writing comprehensive paragraphs.

At the end of the day, Hasan developed well-balanced speaking and writing skills. That being said, Hasan was able to construct more fitting opinionated responses and even enunciate his thoughts with much more ease and comfort. Thus as a result of Michael’s course, Hasan successfully received 99/120 on the TOEFL IBT with 24/30 in speaking and 26/30 in writing.
