Analo, who just joined an Online TOEFL Course called “The 7-Step System to Pass the TOEFL iBT,” has almost put all the pieces of the TOEFL puzzle together. He has subtotals of 25, 26, 24, and 28 on the reading, listening, speaking, and writing sections of the exam. So, with an impressive score of 103, why did he join an Online TOEFL Course?
Analo aspires to become a practicing pharmacist in the United States, and, even though he has met the required scores of the TOEFL on the reading, listening, and writing sections of the exam, he still needs to increase his speaking score by 2 points so that he meets the 26 point requirement. And, that is exactly why he joined an Online TOEFL Course. Much to Analo’s satisfaction, TOEFL mentor, founder, owner, and materials writer Michael Buckhoff created a TOEFL study plan to help Analo improve his speaking and pronunciation fluency so that he can satisfy the TOEFL requirements once and for all.
In the first part of Analo’s TOEFL Speaking Study Guide, Analo will complete a pre-test after which Michael will diagnose what vowel and consonant sounds Analo is having trouble with. Then, Analo will watch 25 videos; at the end of each video, Analo, while completing a skill-building exercise, will record his voice at Michael’s Voxopop Discussion Group to self -monitor his progress. Then, once TOEFL iBT pronunciation mentor Michael gives him the go-ahead, Analo will complete the second pre-test, after which Michael will diagnose problems that Anlalo might be having with syllable division and grammatical word endings, word stress, sentence rhythm, intonation, thought groups, and blending. Once Analo finishes all the required pronunciation lessons, he will take a final post-test, and then Michael will give him some final recommendations to help him reduce his accent.
In the second part of Analo’s TOEFL Speaking Guide, Analo will compete a series of skill-building indepependent and integrated lessons and then have the opportunity to record up to 300 indepependent speaking practice tests at Michael’s Better TOEFL Scores and 7-Step System Voxopop Discussion Groups. During these recordings, TOEFL iBT mentor Michael and his trained iBT speaking specialist will listen to Analo’s responses and give him feedback as it relates to pronunciation, grammar and vocabulary useage, and topic development. Gradually through this process, Analo will become clearer, more organized, and more detailed in the responses he records.
Finally, he will become trained enough to retake the TOEFL iBT exam, this time reaching his goal of 26/30 on the speaking section of the exam.
