A study plan to help you improve your TOEFL score from 46 to 80.

Students all over the world are preparing for the TOEFL so that they can enter universities. Others need to get high TOEFL scores to meet requirements for jobs in the healthcare profession: pharmacists, nurses, physical therapists, doctors, and dentists.

On a weekly basis, I get e-mails from many students who want to improve their academic English so that they can also get high TOEFL scores. In fact, currently, I am corresponding with a student who wants to enter a graduate program.  The requirement for this program is that she score 80 pts or higher.  However, she had not taken the TOEFL yet, so I told her to complete a full-length iBT practice test.  The student had already joined my Online TOEFL Course “The 7-Step System to Pass the TOEFL iBT,” so she completed one of the tests that I offer.

After taking the iBT practice test, the student received a score of 46. Then, with this new information, I was able to figure out her level and how close  (or how far!) she was from reaching her goal. As that point, I put together a TOEFL study plan requiring her to follow several steps over a period of a few months.

The following 22 minute video presents the plan that I recommended for her:
